Stila One Step Bronze Review
This product's packaging is pretty interesting. You can see the swirls of the bronze color in a clear gel, which makes for a beautiful effect. The bottle is plastic, which a fabulous pump. (Pumps are great for sanitation reasons. I vote that all liquid makeup products come with pumps!) This pump is particularly high quality, and dispensed a good amount of product evenly.
Unfortunately, the actual product didn't work for my fair skin. The deeper pigments settled into my pores and the rest of the bronze color looked splotchy on my skin. It is not a silicone based primer, which could be a positive or negative depending on personal preference. It didn't give any real illumination, which it claimed to do. It also didn't make me look any more bronze...more dirty.
As a primer, I think it works fairly well, but I've never needed a primer for longevity purposes.
All in all, I wouldn't recommend this product for fair skin tones. I'd be interested to know if it'd work for those of you with medium or deep skin tones, but I can't speak for it's effectiveness there. I would say that this product makes more claims than it can live up to.
